Octavo (trade paperback); pp.1-6 [self end, title-page, copyright page, table of contents(verso blank)], 7-139, 140 verso blank, self ends; pictorial wrappers.

Good luster to wrappers, stress crease to lower front cover (likely at time of printing or shipping strap).
Overall a sound and clean copy in unread, like new condition: Fine.

This edition self published and illustrated (cover & title-page) by Hernstrom was likely printed and sold directly by Amazon, by my recollection, and spans an unknown number of printed copies that started in 2016 and abruptly ended a few years later, the exact year is unknown to myself.

Pilum Press would later re-release the title with a slight change to the title as 'Thune's Vision: Stories' in 2022.
With this Pilum release came a change to the cover art now by J.M. Blanchet and add an additional three stories:
The Palace of the Androgyne (Lore:v.2,no.5, APR 14)
Alien Mercy (Pilum, JUN 22)
Servants of the War God (Pilum, JUN 22).
As of this writing Pilum Press still offers the title in trade sized paperback and to my knowledge the first and only hardcover edition.

This first and by far best printing of 'Thune's Vision' offered here with cover art by Hernstrom is now 10 years on from its first print and is trying very hard to become an uncommon find for purchase. 
Three recent sales on eBay from Cirsova were eagerly picked up by this most humble and thankful bookseller.
I had been looking for this version for sometime having foolishly believed in 2016 that they would simply be for sale, forever...until they weren't.
Though not rare, this edition does benefit from an unknown printed quantity, copies are still to be had but are being held tightly by collectors, fans of Hernstrom and true believers of The Genre, or simply forgotten about by those who have them.
Personal experience tells me copies for sale online or in the wild are few and far between.

Hernstrom is a recognized and important voice among enthusiasts of a resurgence in the interest of Heroic Fantasy/Sword-and-Sorcery in the early years of what appeared to be a proto-Third Wave of Sword-and-Sorcery during the mid 00's and mid to late aught-teens.
I believe this edition of 'Thune's Vision' to be an important artifact and milestone of that era from an author well versed in this pulpy history.
